ABOUT ME
My name is Gerard Timmers, and I have been involved in photography for many years. However, my true passion for wildlife—especially birds—was discovered in 2025 during a trip to the Malaysian part of Borneo.
As of January 1st, I decided to step away from my professional career and fully dedicate myself to photography and the creation of fine art impressions.
Being out in nature and experiencing wildlife brings a deep sense of inner peace, with capturing beautiful images as the ultimate reward.
Some of these photographs are used to create fine art. Fine art photography is photography created in line with the vision of the photographer as an artist, using photography as a medium for creative expression. The goal of fine art photography is to express an idea, a message, or an emotion.
